Analyze Deviations Between Mesh Entities

The Analyze Deviation function, which was introduced in Mastercam 2025, identifies dimensional differences between entities.
In that release, analysis was limited to different combinations of points, curves, surfaces, bodies, and faces. In this release, the Analyze Deviation function now includes support for mesh to provide more flexibility and precision in your design and verification workflow.

Analyze Deviation is located on the Home tab in the Analyze group.

Under the drop-down, the ribbon control presents five entity combinations to compare. The following analysis features now offer mesh support:

• Surface to Surface: Surface can now mean a surface, solid face, sheet solid, solid body, or a mesh.

• Curve to Surface: Mesh support has been added.

• Point to Surface: Mesh support has been added.
