Redesigned Levels Manager

Mastercam 2026 features a redesigned Levels Manager, with levels organized into a tree structure. The new manager lets you perform such functions as those shown in the following list.

  • Create and nest groups.

  • Drag-and-drop within the tree.

  • Search the tree.

  • Filter the tree by groups.

  • Expand and collapse groups for better organization.

  • Find levels from geometry.

  • Reset all levels.

  • Customize display options.

  • Turn all levels on or off.

The Levels Manager’s tree structure lets you see the entities on any level by clicking the arrow to the left of the level’s name. The following image shows all of the levels open to list their entities. Each entity’s count is also shown in the list.

You can access functions that are specific to each level by clicking the More actions icon to display the menu shown in the following image. The entities within each level also feature a drop-down menu, for typical editing functions such as cut, copy, and delete. Each level displays the number of entities on the level, as well as an “eye” button for turning a level on or off.

When you click a level or a level’s entity summary, Mastercam highlights the associated geometry in the graphics window. The following image shows the Wireframe level selected, with the associated wireframe geometry highlighted in the graphics window. The second image following shows the Selection page of the System Configuration dialog box, where you can toggle the auto-highlighting function, as needed.
