The new Include tool radius option adds the tool radius when compensating to the inside or outside of the containment boundary. This option saves you from calculating the radius manually and then adding it to the Additional offset field. However, you can still use Additional offset in conjunction with this feature. Include tool radius is located on the Containment sub-page in the Unified and Triangular Mesh toolpaths, as shown in the following image.

The Include Tool Radius option.

To access Include tool radius for a Triangular Mesh toolpath, follow these steps:

  1. Start a Triangular Mesh toolpath.

  2. On the Cut Pattern page, select Containment.

  3. On the Containment sub-page, change Compensate to to Inside or Outside.

To access Include tool radius for a Unified toolpath, follow these steps:

  1. Start a Unified toolpath.

  2. On the Cut Pattern page, add an Automatic or Curve row to the Pattern table.

  3. On the Containment sub-page, change Compensate to to Inside or Outside.
