User Defined Radial Slices for Rotary Advanced

The User defined radial slices option helps define the incremental depth steps for a Rotary Advanced toolpath. When you enable the option on the Cut Pattern page, Mastercam replaces the default Depth steps options with an interactive grid for defining the incremental depth passes.

Note that you define increments using the radius of the feature being machined. For example, the following image shows a pocket to be machined on a 5-inch diameter. To program two depth passes 0.100 inches apart, you add 2.40-inch and 2.30-inch entries in the grid.
