Create Machine Groups with Copilot

Mastercam Copilot now lets users create machine groups with custom names using either the default machine or any machine in the /CNC_MACHINES folder. You can even define and add operations in the same command, streamlining your setup process and saving time.

To use this feature, activate Copilot and issue a command such as:

“Create a mill machine group using the default machine with a contour operation and a 2D high-speed operation.”

Copilot briefly pauses, then executes the command. A confirmation message appears once the machine group and operations are created. If needed, you can also easily revert these changes manually or using Copilot.

This feature supports an expanding list of toolpath types.
