New Load Components panel

Mastercam’s new Machine Definition and Component Libraries panels both rely on a new Load Components panel. This was created to support a workflow that is consistent and robust whether you are building machine definitions or working with libraries of tool locators.

The panel opens when you are working in either a component library or machine definition, and you select the Load Component from File button.

Click the Open button at the top of the page to select a machine definition or component library. When you select a file, Mastercam displays all of its components in a tree. Any time you click on a component, Mastercam displays its picture in the Geometry Preview window. Use the Filter button to filter the list of displayed components to specific component types or groups.

Import components by selecting them in the tree and dragging them to the machine definition or component library. Mastercam displays a special icon when the cursor is hovering over a valid node in the destination component tree.
