AutoCursor Selection Enhancements

Mastercam’s Selection enhancements include an update to Edge Selection and new Loop Selection method. These are located on the AutoCursor Bar.

The update for Edge Selection now lets you select surface edge geometry. Previously, when using Curve On One Edge for example, surface edges would not be picked up with Edge Selection. In Mastercam 2027, surface edges now display and highlight as expected with Edge Selection enabled.

The Loop Selection option makes selecting specific geometry easier than multiple edges when working with solid and surface geometry. In the example below, Loop Selection can be used to select the entire outside, while Edge Selection can be used to deselect the bottom.
