Selecting the Tool Axis Orientation

The new Tool orientation option for Unified and Swarf Milling produces a toolpath with expected behavior and correctly oriented tools. Choose from the following parameters:

• Automatic: Chooses the correct tool orientation based on which side the toolpath is located.

• Along normal: Sets the tool axis orientation outward relative to the clearance area.

• Opposed to normal: Sets the tool axis orientation inward relative to the clearance area.
